Biography
Egle Pranaityte is a professional singer, songwriter, vocal coach, and performer originally from Vilnius, Lithuania. Raised in a musical family, she began her musical journey performing in vocal ensembles and choirs, including the renowned Jazz Island Juniors led by Artūras Novikas, touring across Europe while studying at the Music Academy of Vilnius.
She later continued her studies at Middlesex University in London, where she performed with The Roundhouse Choir.
Egle has also specialised in vocal leadership through her participation in the Dutch Organic Choir led by Merel Martens and Peder Karlsson, as well as jazz improvisation studies with Sanna van Vliet while living in Holland. Her training also includes the Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method, breathwork, and body awareness.
After relocating to Malta, Egle became deeply involved in the local music scene, founding The Organic Choir Malta. From 2015 to 2020, she was the lead vocalist of jazz fusion band The Ranch, touring extensively across Europe and co-writing music featured on local and international radio stations. She later continued her vocal development through classical singing studies with soprano Marouska Attard.
She currently performs as a tenor with KorMalta – Malta National Choir, leads a jazz quartet performing her original compositions, and teaches voice through various studios and private coaching.
